Year’s Appeal
If
history is anything to go by, Operation Rudolph will grow again
in 2008. We hope to raise the bar again in the quality of the
hampers and aim to distribute them to 1000 different homes in
the city.
600
of the hampers will be given disadvantaged families, 400 to individuals
and the elderly - each will create memories.
The
aims and values of Operation Rudolph remain the same…
-
To
identify greatest needs – In partnership with Social
Services, Family Centres, voluntary organisations and other
churches, we identify families and individuals in the city
who are facing real poverty.
-
To
give extravagantly - We encourage individuals and businesses
to donate generously so that we can bless families with an
extravagant gift. Last year the majority of hampers were worth
in the region of £80 each!
-
To deliver personally - We also ask individuals to give generously
of their time so that they can personally deliver hampers
to the identified families.
For
the fifth year running each hamper will contain a handwritten
Christmas card. |
